Mathew Figueroa, PT, DPT
Matt graduated from the University of Arizona in 1991 with a degree in Nutrition Science. He played baseball for 4 years there and spent one season with the Montreal Expos Organization before starting physical therapy school. He graduated from NAU in 1994 with his MPT and immediately began working in outpatient orthopedics in the Phoenix area
Matt joined Physicians Physical Therapy Service in 2000 and purchased the Goodyear Clinic in 2004. Since then he has served as Owner/Practice Director and currently oversees 6 clinics. Matt is currently working on his DPT through The University of St. Augustine with a focus on Manual Therapy of the spine and extremities. Matt enjoys treating athletes with focus on restoring biomechanical function. He also enjoys treating injured workers and loves the challenge of helping them get back to meaningful employment.
Matt is married to his wonderful wife AnnEve and they have 2 boys Gabriel and Corban. They have been members of Christ Church of the Valley (CCV) for 22 years. They enjoy leading Bible studies together and encouraging married couples. Matt loves almost all sports, particularly baseball, basketball, football and golf. He also loves hiking and scuba diving in exotic places. He is definitely an AZ Cardinals Fan.
Matt serves on the State Board of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and loves teaching and coaching youth sports.
Stephanie McIntyre, PT, DPT
Stephanie currently practices at Physicians Physical Therapy Service in the Glendale Clinic. Her areas of interest in physical therapy include general orthopedics with additional emphasis in functional biomechanics analysis, knee injuries, ACL injury prevention, shoulder, stroke, and chronic kidney disease. She volunteers time with local high schools for training and ACL injury prevention.
Stephanie completed the Advanced Functional Biomechanics of Lower Extremity Certification at the Movement Performance Institute in 2013. She received dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Dietetics and Exercise Science from the University of Central Missouri in 1994, Dietetics certification/internship from the Saint Louis University in 1995, and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from A.T. Still University in 2010.
In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys photography, reading, watching movies, staying active including cycling, weight training, and relaxing and spending time with friends, family and her 4 dogs.
Joseph McArthur, PT, DPT
Joseph McArthur joined our Glendale clinic in 2016. Joe attended Midwestern University and received a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Joe completed an internship working with neurologically impaired patients, as well as working with poly-traumatic orthopedic and high level neuro injuries. In his practice he enjoys working with all types of patients and loves a challenge in the orthopedic and neurological areas.
Growing up most of his life in Southern California one of his favorite activities is surfing. He was a surf instructor for several years. He also enjoys running, camping and hiking. Joe is active in volunteer work and has worked with the Special Olympics and with Hearts in Motion providing care to underserved people in Guatemala.
